报告题目:A conjecture of Erdös onp+2^k

报告内容：LetUbe the set of positive odd integers that cannot be represented as the sum of a prime and a power of two. Erdös conjectured that the setUis the union of an infinite arithmetic progression of positive odd integers and a set of asymptotic density zero. In this talk, we answer the above Erdös' conjecture negatively by proving the following stronger result:Uis not a union of finitely many infinite arithmetic progressions and a set of asymptotic density zero.

报告人简历：陈永高，南京师范大学二级教授，博士生导师，1998年入选江苏省“333工程”第二层次培养对象，2002年获得国务院特殊津贴，2007获全国优秀教师称号。曾获第三届钟家庆数学奖，江苏省科技进步奖二等奖等。陈永高教授的研究方向是数论，2002年以来连续主持国家自然科学基金面上项目，发表学术论文200篇左右，其研究成果发表于Amer. J. Math.、J. London Math. Soc.、Math. Comp.、J. Number Theory、Acta Arith、Science China Math.等国内外著名数学期刊。曾担任中国数学奥林匹克委员会副主席，多次担任国际数学奥林匹克中国队的领队。
